6 year olds!!!

My last lesson to the kindergarten class was using the parachute and demonstrating different loco-motor skills while using the parachute. One of the objectives besides practicing and developing loco-motors skill is listening skills. They were so cute. Before I started the warm-ups with the students, I told them what activity we were doing today. The students remembered that in order to use the parachute they have to demonstrate great listening skills by following all the instructions. Immediately after I told them we were using the parachute, all the students were silent. It was like I scared them. It was so funny. I could have gotten them to do anything that day. They listened so well. So, if your trying to get your students to have better listening skills, threaten them with the parachute. It works every time!!

  1. oh gosh I remember that thing when I was little, how fun! They had a smaller version at Target I wanted to get my nephews, but I really didn't think it would be as fun with just two of them. :)
